Impact Investment Initiatives

The goal of impact investing is to balance economic returns with social benefits.
We focus on social issues, such as the declining birthrate, the population decrease and the aging of society. Through two funds, we provide funding and management support to venture companies focused on solving social issues and help them grow.
These funds, the first impact investment funds associated with Japanese banks, undertake initiatives to build a new ecosystem that supports and develops venture companies, ultimately helping to create industries and businesses that positively impact society.

Two funds, Japan Impact Investment Fund I, which specializes in childcare, and Japan Impact Investment Fund II, focusing on childcare, nursing care and new work styles, make industry-focused investments.
